The third Local Assembly of the MILAGRO project (WP 2) was held at the Faculty of
Philology, University of Belgrade, at the Center for Serbian as a Foreign Language. This Local
Assembly was held in the specific environment of the University under blockade, due to the
current socio-political situation in Serbia, and this was reflected in the Local Assembly itself.
Namely, the number of photos was limited, and we also had to hold the Local Assembly in two
rounds due to the restrictions on the number of people allowed in the classroom (only the second
round of participants is shown in the photos due to the previously explained situation).
Nevertheless, the Local Assembly was attended by domestic and foreign students from Italy,
France, the Netherlands, Russia and China, as well as by two teachers from the Faculty.
Despite the specific situation, the Local Assembly was successfully held. The basic elements of
the MILAGRO project were explained by the Local Coordinator, PhD Vasilije Milnović, and the
Event Manager, PhD Dragana Stolić. Also, we invited the participants to actively play a role in
the project and welcomed suggestions and proposals. The participants were very interested in the
project. Therefore, we expect their visit to the University Library and further information about
the project in the upcoming period. All participants are familiar with the project timeline and the
current stage of project implementation.
In order to maximize awareness of the MILAGRO project as much as possible, we have planned
to hold Local Assemblies for different target groups. Thus, the first was held among current and
potential local partners, the second among doctoral students, and this one among the foreign
students learning the Serbian language. The next Local Assembly should be held among the
students in blockade or among the volunteers of the Red Cross of Serbia.
