within Work Package 2 of the MILAGRO project

June 6, 2025

The Fourth Local Assembly of the MILAGRO project (WP 2) was held at the University Library
(UBSM), University of Belgrade, at the PhD Studies Support Center. This Local Assembly was
intended for colleagues from the University Library, who were very interested in the current
course of the project and its implementation, as well as upcoming activities within the project.
Interns from University College Utrecht in the Netherlands also attended the meeting, marking
their very first day of internship within WP 7 of the MILAGRO project. It was also a great
opportunity to meet other colleagues from the library, including those who have their own tasks
on the MILAGRO project itself. The Local Assembly was successfully held, with the basic
elements of the MILAGRO project explained by the Local Coordinator PhD Vasilije Milnović
and the Event Manager PhD Dragana Stolić. Also, UBSM asked the participants to actively play
a role in the project and welcomed suggestions and proposals. The participants showed great
interest in the project, and we anticipate their active engagement moving forward. An
opportunity for this will arise in two weeks, when the Summer Camp is held as part of WP 5 of
the MILAGRO project. All participants are familiar with the project timeline and the current
stage of project implementation.
In order to spread information about the MILAGRO project as much as possible, we have
planned to hold Local Assemblies for different target groups. Thus, the first was held among
current and potential local partners, the second among doctoral students, the third among foreign
students learning the Serbian language and this one among UBSM employees because it is
necessary to involve, directly and indirectly, as many colleagues as possible in the
implementation of the project due to upcoming activities. The meeting was therefore attended –
not counting those who are already part of the MILAGRO UBSM team – by 14 colleagues
interested in joining the project + 3 interns from the Netherlands. The next Local Assembly
should be held among students or among volunteers of the Red Cross of Serbia.
