At the seventh Local Assembly of the MILAGRO project in Serbia, the results so far were
presented by the local Coordinator Vasilije Milnović, PhD, and the local Event Manager of the
project, Dragana Stolić, PhD. The Local Assembly was held at the Faculty of Political Sciences,
University of Belgrade, and was attended by 18 students and Professor Natalija Perišić. The
interesting thing about this Local Assembly was the fact that Professor Natalija Perišić was the
local Coordinator of the Horizon project MIGREC, which had migrants as its topic. On this
occasion, the results of the MILAGRO project so far, its most interesting parts and the details of
the Observatory website were presented. The students were very interested in learning more
about the project, especially about the data that is still needed for the Observatory by the end of
the project. They were also invited by the lecturer to join the specific acquisition of all the
relevant data. Furthermore, this was a good opportunity to compare the experiences of two large
projects – the CERV one and the one from the Horizon program, with a similar theme.
The following and final Local Assembly will be organized soon within the University of
Belgrade.
