The MILAGRO project, funded by the EU, officially launched with the Sensibilization event on September 26th, 2024, in Belgrade. The initiative aims to promote inclusivity between migrants and local communities. Key speakers included Aleksandar Jerkov, a PhD professor and the director of the University library and Vasilije Milnović, PhD and the local project coordinator. Local partners such as Tatjana Prijic, the assistant to the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, Ljiljana Ćumura from Terraforming, Jovana Vinčić from the Asylum Protection Center in Belgrade, and migrants representative Šakil Aslam, also attended this event to show their support.
