Representatives of doctoral students and young researchers participated in this event, during which the project was presented and detailed in its multiple activities. Also, UBSM asked the participants to actively play a role in the project and welcomed suggestions and proposals.
The idea was to present the project during a seminar organized by UBSM for doctoral students and young researchers in the Scientific and educational cultural center “Vuk Karadžić” in Tršić (Serbia). This is in line with our intention to have diverse groups of people involved in the Local Assembly. Since the first event was held among local partners and colleagues, this was a great opportunity for young researchers to get acquainted with all the details of the project. On that occasion, they expressed interest in this project, and several of them applied to actively and voluntarily join the project at some point. All proposals and interests were adopted and they will receive invitations to join WP3 and WP4, and to attend some workshops. The fact that this is a European project with a current topic seems to have been the main reason for the students’ great interest.
Since these are young researchers and young teaching staff at scientific research organizations – they can further transfer information among their students and pupils.
