University College Utrecht is the English-language undergraduate Liberal Arts & Sciences faculty of Utrecht University, a wide-ranging and internationally recognized research university of high standing within the Netherlands.

As a faculty that follows Liberal Arts and Sciences education, it lives by an educational philosophy rather than a body of knowledge, specific courses, or a type of institution. It draws upon a broad range of knowledge, asking students to grapple with complicated, crucial issues, while usually expecting them to learn about at least one subject in greater depth or at an advanced level.
University College Utrecht is a place where different worlds meet, both intellectually and culturally. The different perspectives in the college’s educational community help give students a deeper understanding of the world, helping tackle complex challenges that transcend disciplinary or national boundaries.
Goals
As a faculty of Utrecht University, established in 1636, University College Utrecht has a strong connection to the city of Utrecht, with interdisciplinary research targets under four themes:
As trailblazers in the field of modernizing educational concepts, University College Utrecht is an intercultural community of 750 students from nearly 70 different nationalities. It offers students complete freedom to compose their curriculum with over 200 different courses in the humanities, social sciences, and science. Through the spread of nationalities and students residing and studying on the same campus, it is a close-knit international community and a vibrant hub for intellectual exploration and social engagement. Discussions and goals for the institute are based on the diversity of disciplinary and cultural perspectives brought into the classroom by students; It is a faculty by which the themes of equality, diversity, and inclusion remain prevalent.
