December 24, 2025
This event was the final one in a series of events from WP 4, and concerned both digital and
media literacy. The official title was: Using board games for teaching and assessing news
literacy skills. Due to great interest in the MILAGRO project from colleagues in other libraries,
we enabled colleagues from the Belgrade City Library to lead this workshop within this project,
as they bring relevant expertise and prior project experience in this field. As expected, the
workshop was met with great enthusiasm from the local library community, and the majority of
participants were fellow librarians.
However, there were also participants from abroad, as well as students. This topic turned out to
be extremely attractive and current, especially in the context of migration and migrants. Specific
examples related to migrants were also given.
The workshop was led by the Assistant Director of the Belgrade City Library, Bojan Kundačina,
with the support of the local MILAGRO project team. The participants clearly had a lot of fun
during the workshop. Even after the official end, they remained engaged in the game led by the
organizer, which involved answering questions related to media and digital literacy.
Curious participants, including fellow librarians and students, arrived at the workshop
throughout the session and eagerly joined in on the activities.
